Marius Lindauer is Professor of Machine Learning at Leibniz University Hannover, where he co-founded the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. He serves as Vice-Dean (Pro-Dekan) of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and he is a member of the extended board of directors of the L3S AI Research Center as well as an ELLIS member and a member of the Plattform Lernende Systeme. In addition to being the winner of several international AI-related competitions, he was awarded an ERC Starting Grant and an ERC POC Grant.
